Canada’s sesquicentennial is an historic moment with the power to bring people and places together as we dream big about our communities and our country.
The Community Fund for Canada’s 150th is a small grants program that has supported community initiatives in all parts of Canada. The Fund is a collaboration between Canada’s community foundations, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary leaders from coast to coast to coast.
Abbotsford Community Foundation received $30,000 from The Community Fund for Canada’s 150th and $30,000 from its partner the City of Abbotsford. Jointly we have allocated $60,000 to seven arts and culture projects that will foster a greater sense of belonging and inclusion in Abbotsford in 2017. Please click here for a description of the projects we funded and visit the 150 Alliance website to learn more about Canada events happening in our region.
